You see, my wife Carter and I have loved our old Tudor home for nearly 40 years. And when we decided to add a 900 sq ft master bedroom suite we realized it was literally a once in a lifetime project.

Luckily that's when we met Luis Carrilllo Jr. and Millstone Construction. Soon I learned he started Millstone after attending the US Coast Guard Academy on a full athletic scholarship ride. But injuries forced him back home and to finish at VCU.

More importantly I soon learned that Luis has building construction in his blood. He is dependable, honest, and straight forward in all his business dealings. He's always easy to reach usually answering his phone the first few rings. If I have to leave a message I can count on a prompt reply.

He always has time to answer your questions and satisfy any concerns you might have.

His craftsmanship is impeccable and his eye for detail impressive.

His workmen quietly show up for work with a positive and courteous attitude and go about their work with focused concentration and quiet efficiency.

He keeps the work site (my back yard) neat and tidy at all times. All trash and construction debris is removed weekly. And his work schedule is very aggressive. These guys don't mess around!
